LAURENE selected at RCF for the Festival de la fiction​ in La Rochelle !

LAURENE is a TV series project of 8 x 52' written by Richard Bean, winner of the fund SACD Creation Series France Europe 2018 with the support of ARTE. 

Pitch : Laurene, a young, single mother from Romania, is working as a cleaner in Paris to support her seven year old daughter.
One day she discovers the dead body of one of her employers in his luxury apartment, and a holdall stuffed with millions of euros. She takes the money, and is unwittingly drawn into the affairs of a financial holding company called “Fish Eye”, belonging to a powerful European mafia organisation. With an uncommon instinct for survival, she assumes control of the company as a bloody gang war unfolds around her.

The Rendez-vous of francophone creation of the Festival de la fiction in La Rochelle will take place the 11th and 12th of september 2019. It will be the opportunity to pitch the series in front of international producers and broadcasters. 

Alexandre Charlet, producer, Matthieu Bernard, artistic producer, and Richard Bean will be at the festival on the 11th to the 14th of september 2019.
